Our Story

The ministry began on February 8, 2018, at Tedder SRC, University of Ibadan. A father-in-the-Lord felt a burden for prayer and invited Apostle Gideon Odoma of the Fortress Ministry. The theme of that first meeting was School of Prayer.

A branch opened in Abeokuta on March 17, 2019, at Chapel of Grace, Federal Medical Center, with the theme Let Us Pray.

In July 2019, an Apostolic Invasion was held in Ibadan featuring Apostle Arome Osayi and Minister Theophilus Sunday, which served as the official commissioning of the ministry.

Weekly Fellowship and Bible Study began in August 2021 at the Excellentia Building, 21 Kolapo Ishola Estate, General Gas, Ibadan. The School of Prayer is currently held at The Elects Academy, Agbowo, Ibadan.

The ministry secured its landed property on October 1, 2022. The building is named the House of Prayer (HOP).

The first meeting — Prayer Convocation 2023 — was held in December 2023 after the roofing was completed. Weekly services at the House of Prayer began shortly after.

A six-month leadership church and training was held from July to December 2024. The full church expression officially started in January 2025.
